The Perfect Маn in the Philosophy of 'Abd al-Karim al-Jili (in Аrаbiс)

Abstract

Maytham М. al-Janabi analyzes the image of the Perfect Маn (al-insan al-kamil) in 'Abd al-Karim al-Jili's philosophy. This concept plays а significant part in the classical Sufi tradition. The Perfect man is the Microcosm and а mode of the divine Essence. Al-Jili was the most important thinker who has developed this concept. М. al-Janabi attempts to analyze this phenomenon, basing оn his most important work entitled al-Insan al-kamil.
