Abstract

Having examined imprint of a stamp traditionally attributed to the founder of Yasawiyya brotherhood Khwaja Ahmad Yasawi, which is kept at the moment in a book housed at the Hazret Sultan museum in Kazakhstan, Muhammad-Ali Suleymanov argues that actually this stamp has never belonged to this famous Sufi of the Turkic origin. The article includes publication of the stamp with its Russian translation and a detailed historical comment.
